Architectural qualifications accredited by the Board are five (5) years full-time on campus courses.

Currently only local polytechnic graduates from the following courses are granted waiver of the first two (2) years of study in the degree course overseas:

Polytechnic

Singapore Polytechnic Diploma in Architectural Technology/Architecture
Temasek Polytechnic Diploma in Interior Architecture

Polytechnic graduates from the above courses must take note that it is the Board's policy that they are required to complete a minimum of three (3) years full-time on campus architectural programme, which includes the final year of the first degree of Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) or its equivalent in order for the final degree of Bachelor/Master of Architecture to be recognised by the Board for registration.

Local School

The programme of Bachelor of Architecture or professional Master of Architecture program from the National University of Singapore or the University of Singapore, is recognised by the Board for purpose of registration.

The programme of Master of Architecture (Architecture and Sustainable Design) from Singapore University of Technology and Design is recognised by the Board for purpose of registration.

The Board also adopts a list of programmes in architecture accredited and gazetted under section 15(1)(b) of the Architects Act. The list of the schools of architecture overseas with courses recognised for registration is detailed below.
