Board of Architects Professional Practice Examination

The Board of Architects will be holding an examination in Professional Practice in November 2008

Graduates from the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore and other recognised Schools of Architecture, who wish to sit for the examination must have obtained not less than twenty four months of architectural work after graduation. This should include practical experience in architectural work in Singapore for a continuous period of at least twelve months. In addition, candidates' log books which shall include details of relevant practical experience and case studies must be approved by the Board prior to the examination. New candidates are required to attend tutorial classes which will be conducted by the Singapore Institute of Architects on behalf of the Board. They can contact SIA directly on this matter.

Application forms for admission to the examination are obtainable from the Board of Architects, Singapore, 1st Storey, MND Complex, Tower Block, Maxwell Road, Singapore 069110. It can also be downloaded from the Board's website at www.boa.gov.sg. Application forms, log books and case studies must reach the Registrar by 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, 15 May 2008.
