Launch of the new BOA Portal

The Board of Architects (“the Board”) is pleased to announce the launch of its new BOA Portal, which will serve as the primary platform for all applications, submissions and transactions with the Board. The following sets out the key dates and matters that all registered architects and firms should take note of.
Verification and Update of Particulars
All registered architects and architectural firms are invited to log in to the new BOA Portal between now till 30 September 2026 to verify and update their registered particulars. This is an important step to ensure that the Board’s records are accurate and up to date.
Registered particulars may be accessed by clicking on the profile icon on the top right-hand corner of the page after logging in.
Administrative charges will be waived for eligible updates made during the waiver period.
For updates that ordinarily require an administrative charge, the “Proceed to Payment” button will still appear due to system configuration. Please click “Proceed to Payment” to continue. No payment is required.
Note: During the trial period, you will not be able to download a copy of the revised practising certificate/licence for the current year via the portal. Please click on this link to complete the practising certificate/licence request form if you wish to obtain the revised certificate.
Applications for Practising Certificates (Year 2027)
The application window for the Practicing Certificates for the year 2027 will open on 1 November 2026. All applications for Practising Certificates are to be submitted through the new BOA Portal.
Registered architects are reminded that the annual deadline for submission is 1 December 2026. Applications received after this date will be subject to a late payment fee.

Applications for Licences by Licensed Corporations and Limited Liability Partnerships

Applicants are reminded that in accordance with the Architects Rules, applications for the renewal of licences must be submitted at least one month before the expiry date of the existing licence. Firms are advised to plan ahead and ensure timely submission through the Portal.

The Board will progressively roll out other features on the new BOA Portal in the coming months. The Board looks forward to bringing greater convenience and efficiency to the profession through these enhancements. Registered architects and firms may access the new BOA Portal via this link.
